Regional Trainer Summary
TribeTalk is seeking experienced and dynamic educators to lead TribeTalk programs across North America. The ideal candidates will be responsible for delivering engaging and impactful training sessions to diverse middle and high school students (and, at times, parents) helping to empower individuals with the knowledge and skills they need to recognize and respond to the issues of antisemitism and anti-Zionism. The trainers will work closely with our national team to continue to develop, implement and expand our national reach.
TribeTalk regional trainers will lead trainings in evenings and on weekends and will be asked to travel across their home region, based on their availability. This is an ideal role for teachers, Jewish professionals, Israel and Jewish educators, and others looking to supplement their income while having a positive impact on the Jewish community.
TribeTalk regional trainers will be paid per program, with a baseline compensation of $500 per day (commensurate with experience), plus additional compensation for multiple programs in a 24-hour period. Travel expenses and per diem will also be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver training programs that meet the needs of our student and parent community.
- Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
- Participate in regular training programs for regional trainers, to include initial onboarding educational program.
- Assess the effectiveness of training programs and identify areas of improvements as needed through survey and follow up questionnaires.
- Collaborate with subject-matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance and to be best quipped for a robust training experience for the students.
- Provide feedback and support to participants to enhance their learning experience.
- Stay updated on the latest training techniques, tools, and industry trends.
- Assist in the enhancement of training materials, including manuals, slide decks, and handouts as appropriate.
- Track and report on training outcomes and participant progress.
- Coordinate logistics of training programs with host organizations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Jewish Studies, Middle East Studies or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Proven experience as a trainer or facilitator, preferably in a nonprofit or community-based organization, and preferably with middle school, high school, and college-aged students.
- Understanding of Judaism and Jewish history, antisemitism, Middle East policy, and related subject matters.
- Strong knowledge of training methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate diverse groups of participants.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, Canva, and virtual training platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).

Application Process
Successful applicants will be required to participate in four, one-hour virtual onboarding sessions in November and December 2024, and complete a virtual practice training. Applicants who successfully complete the onboarding program will receive a $500 bonus upon completion of their first independent training.
